Connections
Give agents and apps access to the external services your work depends on.
A connection is an authorized account or configured integration that Continual can use. A connector defines the integration type; a connection identifies the account and configuration installed in your workspace and linked to projects.
Connect a service
Choose a connector, complete its authorization or configuration, and select the projects that should use it. The steps depend on the provider. Check that the connection is ready and active before using it in work.
Use a clear name when you connect more than one account for the same service, so people and agents can distinguish them.
Tools and events
Connections expose tools for working with the service. Some also expose events that can trigger automations. The available tools and events depend on the connector and the access granted by the provider account.
Link a connection to the relevant project and select it where needed for an automation. Connection instructions can explain how an agent should use that account.
Control access
Review which account the connection acts as and which projects can use it. Provider permissions limit what that account can do. Continual also supports disabling connection tools and configuring tool permission rules.
Maintain a connection
If a connection stops working, check its status and provider authorization. Access can change when an account is revoked or its permissions change. Review automations that depend on a connection before disabling it.
